Dr. Jonathan J Schorn, OD

Dr. Schorn grew up in Mankato, MN and moved on to graduate from the University of Minnesota, Duluth with a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He attained his doctorate degree at the University of Missouri, St. Louis School of Optometry in 1999.

Dr. Schorn worked for five years at a Lasik surgery center in St. Paul, MN helping patients eliminate their dependence on glasses and contact lenses. He also spent seven years at a private optometric practice in Apple Valley, MN helping patients of all ages achieve their best possible vision and has managed all types of eye diseases and conditions over the years.

Dr. Schorn is active in the Minnesota Optometric Association which advocates for equal access to eye care for patients especially in light of the changing health care environment we are likely to face in the coming years. He is in line to serve as President of the Association in 2013.

Dr. Schorn has two daughters ages 11 and 8 and a beautiful wife, Tracy. He is excited to be seeing patients at Uptown Eye Care and is grateful to be working with such a helpful and caring staff.
