Living in Minnesota during the winter months can contribute to many patients developing dry eyes. Dry eyes can not only cause irritation and “watery eyes,” but also decreased vision. Uptown Eye Care is keeping up with the latest technology in the diagnosis and treatment of dry eyes. That is why we became the only Optometric office in Monticello to become accredited as a Tear Lab Dry Eye Center. We have the ability to measure tear osmolarity with the Tear Lab, which helps us diagnose, treat, and monitor a patient’s dry eyes. Dr. Elaine Happ specializes in diagnosing and treating Dry Eye Disease.
