Dr. Miranda Lepinski was born and raised in Buffalo, Minnesota. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph. Immediately following completion of her undergraduate degree, she went on to attend optometry school at Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry. While in optometry school, Dr. Lepinski served as the class president, president of College of Vision Development and participated in many local and international mission trips. Out of the many opportunities to give back, she always looks most forward to providing eye care at the Special Olympics.
During her external rotations, Dr. Lepinski has gained clinical experience in ocular disease at a veteran’s hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina and a dry eye disease center in Jacksonville, Florida. Her true passion, however, lies within pediatric optometry since she herself has strabismus and at an early age had eye surgery. During her rotations at Arizona College of Optometry’s own Eye Institute, she specialized in pediatric optometry and vision therapy. It was also during a local rotation that Dr. Lepinski spent time shadowing Dr. Gregory at Uptown Eye Care and Omni Vision center. After this experience she realized she wanted to come back to Minnesota and that Uptown Eye Care was the perfect fit for her optometric career and her passion for pediatric optometry.
Dr. Lepinski currently lives in Maple Grove and enjoys being back with her family and friends. She enjoys Minnesota summers by boating, swimming, and generally being active outside and especially at a lake. In wintertime, she enjoys cross-country skiing and focusing on family throughout the holiday season.
Dr. Lepinski practices comprehensive optometry with a passion for pediatric and infant eye care. Furthermore, she has a passion for educating her patients on overall eye care and health. She would love to spend time to get to know you during your visit to Uptown Eye Care and to make sure that you and your children’s visual needs are met.
