Uptown Eye Care, located at 560 Cedar Street, Monticello, MN, is a unique experience in total eye care. Our practice welcomes you to browse the latest frame styles in a setting featuring original artwork by local artists. Children love our play area and large selection of colorful and fun frames in a setting created with their comfort as our priority.

I recently dropped into Uptown Eyecare after work one day to have a problem with my right eye put in my records. After discussing this with Shay at the front desk she immediately talked with Dr Tracy Schauer and had me return within about an hour. Dr Schauer had some tests ran and examined my eyes to find a vitreous detachment (I believe they call it), and will have me return in two weeks to check on changes. Had I not gone in this could have led to major vision problems in the future. The doctor and her office were sure to make me comfortable and cared for me as if this were a hospital emergency. This is great care. The folks at Uptown have an atmosphere that is extremely pleasant and I feel very grateful for having such fine doctors and technicians right here in Monticello.
