The 2014 Annual Meeting for the Minnesota Optometric Association will be held this week, Feb 7 & 8th at River Centre in St. Paul. Uptown Eye Care staff will be closed this Friday and Saturday so the staff can take advantage of the excellent continuing education courses being offered.

Governor Dayton has declared August as Children’s Vision Month. The Minnesota Optometric Association (MOA) has named August 1, as Pre-K Eye Exam Day, a statewide effort that is part of its Good Sight for Kindergarten campaign. Participating MOA members around the state will offer one-time, no-cost eye exams to 5 -year olds entering kindergarten either on August 1 or another date and time.
August is National Children’s Vision and Learning Month. Uptown Eye Care’s Dr. Mary Gregory will be offering no cost eye exams to 4 and 5 year olds that will be entering kindergarten this fall. This is a great opportunity to make sure your children are ready for learning with good sight!
Uptown Eye Care, in partnership with the Minnesota Optometric Association (MOA), is proud to be participating in Pre-K Eye Exam Day this August. The goal of Pre-K Eye Exam Day is to let families know that good vision is essential to learning, and every child needs to have a comprehensive eye exam before entering school.
The Minnesota Optometric Association’s 2012 annual meeting will be held Feb 3-4 at the Renaissance Depot in Minneapolis. It has been a tradition at Uptown Eye Care to send the entire staff so everyone can benefit from the excellent education offered at this event.
Dr. Mary Gregory joins several other volunteer eye doctors at the Children’s Healthy Eyes event, hosted by the Minnesota Optometric Association (MOA) and the Science Museum of Minnesota.
