Dr. Jeff Sanderson is a cornea fellowship trained anterior segment surgeon specializing in laser refractive and intraocular procedures. He received his medical school and Ophthalmology residency diplomas from the University of Minnesota and then went on to obtain fellowship subspecialty training at the Pepose Vision Institute in St. Louis, Missouri. He offers a full repertoire of corneal and lens based surgery for vision correction including the latest in personalized wavefront guided LASIK. He also specializes in presbyopic cataract surgery which reduces, and often eliminates, the need for reading glasses.
Dr. Sanderson also practices comprehensive Ophthalmology, delivering care for patients with glaucoma, diabetes, eyelid disorders, dry eyes, and a variety of ocular diseases.
Dr. Sanderson is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Sanderson strives to offer his patients the most technologically advanced treatment for ocular disease and surgical management. He has been seeing patients at Uptown Eye Care since 2009, performing surgery at the Phillips Eye Institute in Buffalo and caring for patients’ additional needs at our clinic.
Dr. Sanderson is very happily married and enjoys spending the majority of his free time with his 3 children (2 boys and a girl). Hobbies include outdoor fitness (especially bicycling), hockey, golf, photography, carpentry and technology.
